Upon Arrival

When you arrive in the Netherlands, we accompany you during the appointments. This way you will always have a consultant who shows you the way, and can help you out.

Intake Meeting: You will meet your personal field consultant to discuss the relocation steps.

Welcome Bag: A welcome bag in which you will find a variety of information books and area maps to inform you of the different aspects of life in The Netherlands.

Housing: a consultant familiar with the areas and housing market will consult with you about your housing needs, prepare an agenda for house viewings and can accompany you on the house hunt tour. Once a property is chosen by you we will negotiate the best possible price and contract. We will ensure utilities are set up as well as telephone lines, internet and cable television. A complete inventory and inspection takes place before the client moves in the new home.

During Stay

During your stay in the Netherlands, we are online available for expat support.

Dutch Mail: At a certain stage you will be overwhelmed by mail you may not understand. Your consultant can come to your house or you can call or email for assistance.

Drivers license: In some cases your foreign drivers license is not valid in The Netherlands; even a drivers license issued in an EU country may not be valid here. We will advice on the validity and if necessary assist with the exchange for a Dutch license.

Repatriation

Expat After Care:

When it is time for an expat to move back to their home country (repatriate), it is important to be de-registered with organizations/city council/Immigration etc. We will help you with this. We will make sure that all necessary organizations will be contacted and notified accordingly.

Expat Repatriation: When it is time to go we will assist with the cancellation of the house contract and utilities, telephone etc. The Immigration Office and City Hall will be advised accordingly of your move and your mail will be forwarded. We can assist with the coordination of the move and the moving company can be arranged for you. The GP/Dentist will be notified as well along with any other clubs or subscriptions you may have.
