August 2010 Modern Migration Policy A new Modern Migration (MoMi) Act is expected to become effective as per January 2011. The purpose of this new migration policy is to attract more students and Highly Skilled Migrants to the Netherlands. In other cases the restrictive policy remains unchanged. As of May 2005 the Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) procedure already provided a more efficient application procedure to employers who were registered as a referent at the Immigration and Naturalization Desk (IND). The new migration policy however will bring significant improvements in order to speed up the HSM procedures. July 2010 EU-registration sticker for ID card holders Since the end of 2008, the Expatcenter(s) also provide EU-registration stickers (verklaring van inschrijving voor burgers van de unie) to EU citizens. When all requirements are met, the sticker can be directly put in a valid passport. In most cases submitting an employment agreement or an employer's statement is sufficient to prove that all conditions have been met. Earlier, this service was not available to EU-citizens holding an ID card instead of a passport. February 2010During our year end business evaluation procedures we have concluded that we are progressively developing in expertise, quality and size. Our quest is to deliver high quality services and become a leader in relocation/immigration services in The Netherlands. Our quality services have been recognized and confirmed by our certification of the EuRA Quality Seal. Being that Quality management is a priority in our day to day service delivery we are very keen on having regular evaluations done. The results and feedback from the transferees and our customers are vital in the analysis of our performance and future development. We would like to present the 2009-results derived from evaluation feedback from our transferees. The measurement used is reflected in percentages from 0% being the lowest score to 100% being the highest score. Relocation/Immigration Services: 84% service satisfaction.
